About East Anglia FireScope

Fire door inspection and compartmentation surveying with a practical, evidence-led approach.

Our work

East Anglia FireScope is based in Gorleston, Norfolk, providing inspection and surveying services for organisations across East Anglia.

Our work helps clients understand the condition of their existing fire doors and accessible compartmentation features. We focus on clear records, practical communication and identifying issues that need attention or further investigation.

Evidence before assumptions

Existing buildings do not always come with complete product records or clear installation information. We inspect what is accessible, consider the evidence available and explain where conclusions are limited.

Where something cannot be confirmed, we would rather identify the information needed than make an unsupported assumption.

Qualifications and professional development

Jason Wiseman holds ABBE Level 3 qualifications in Fire Door Inspection and Passive Fire Protection. East Anglia FireScope is a member of the Fire Protection Association.

Our approach is supported by ongoing professional development and relevant industry training.

Working in occupied buildings

Inspection programmes often take place while buildings remain in use. We agree access and scheduling with your team, taking account of residents, staff and everyday operations.

Our relationship with East Anglia Fire Doors

East Anglia FireScope and East Anglia Fire Doors are sister companies with shared ownership and clearly defined services.

EAFS provides inspections and surveys. EAFD provides fire door installation, replacement and remedial works. Each business quotes and contracts for its own services.

Our inspection findings are based on the condition observed and available evidence, regardless of who may undertake the subsequent works. You are free to appoint a competent contractor of your choice and are under no obligation to use EAFD.

Where you require fire door works, you can contact East Anglia Fire Doors separately to discuss the project.
