Please provide the site address, the service you need and any information you already have. An approximate number of door sets is useful for fire door inspection enquiries. Existing asset schedules, fire strategies, floor plans and fire risk assessments will also help us understand the building and your requirements.

If you have an existing asset schedule, inspection report, fire strategy, floor plans, fire risk assessment or photographs, you can attach them here. Please avoid including unnecessary personal or confidential information.

Accepted file types: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, JPG, PNG. Up to 5 files, 15 MB in total.

We will use the details you provide to respond to your enquiry. Please read our Privacy Policy for information about how we handle your data.

Common questions

Do I need an accurate door count before requesting a quote?

An approximate count is enough to start the discussion. An existing asset schedule is helpful if you have one.

What is the difference between non-intrusive and intrusive inspection?

Non-intrusive inspection checks visible and accessible features. Intrusive sampling opens up agreed areas on selected door sets to investigate details concealed by finishes.

Does a 10% sample confirm every door set?

No. Sampling provides information about the selected door sets and may indicate the need for wider investigation. It does not confirm concealed details on unsampled door sets.

Do you carry out installation or remedial works?

EAFS provides inspections and surveys. Our sister company EAFD provides fire door installation, replacement and remedial works under a separate appointment. You can use a contractor of your choice.

Can you inspect occupied buildings?

Yes. Access and scheduling are agreed with your team before the visit.

How often should fire doors be inspected?

The appropriate programme depends on the building, its use and the applicable requirements. Contact us to discuss the premises and the inspection scope you need.
